Have you ever wondered why people act weird around you? Like they want to tell you something but the words won’t come out of their mouth?
Despite what you probably think, it doesn’t mean they don’t like you. In fact, they admire you.
The problem?
Your personality is so alpha that it’s intimidating them.
They just can’t deal with your intellect, complexity and deeply ingrained emotional strength.
So if you think you have a strong personality, you might identify with these 5 things:
1) You can’t stand small-talk
For you, there’s nothing worse than engaging in small-talk. “How am I doing?” “What do I think about the weather?” Please! Dedicating mental energy to such banality is beneath you.
You’re interested in depth and meaning.
While this means you come across as rude when people try to engage you in small-talk, once they really start to know you, they become awed with your complexity and depth and ability to understand the other person.
2) Ignorance annoys you
The strength of your personality comes from your self-taught knowledge. You know you’re well informed and more rational than the average person.
For you, learning is one of the greatest joys in life. Considering the amount of effort you put into flexing your brain, when people make comments or judgements that wreak of plain ignorance , it irks you to your core.
Sometimes you can’t help but call them out on their stupidity. Other times you encourage them to gain more self-knowledge so they can carefully consider their words next time.
3) You don’t accept excuses
You work hard every day and avoid wasting time on things that don’t matter. When someone comes to you with an excuse, you’re not going to waste energy on their complaining or whining. You prefer action.
You’re always pushing yourself to be better and to make better decisions in life, so you don’t want to deal with excuses for other people’s behavior.
There may be a lot of reasons why someone can’t do something, but there are a lot more reasons why they can.
4) You don’t care about superficial attention
People with a strong personality don’t seek attention for their appearance or accolades. You’re already secure with yourself, so why the hell would you waste your time begging for attention for others to notice you?
You’d rather let your words and actions speak for themselves.
We’ve all met those people who seek attention by complaining, creating drama and dressing outrageously. But you already know this kind of superficial attention is toxic and fleeting.
5) You create opportunities out of nothing
Some people sit around waiting for “serendipity” to strike. But you’re different. You create your own opportunities and actively seek out what you know you want.
Achieving goals are a fundamental aspect of your life. They make you learn, grow and evolve to the amazing human being you know you can be.
You also know that change is the only law in the universe, and the only way to deal with it is to embrace it with open arms.
Of course you have insecurities just like everyone else. The difference is you refuse to let them control your life.
You only get life once, so you embrace it fully.
