We’re brought up to think that if we achieve certain things, we’ll find happiness.

Power, money, status, success, fame, material possessions – once you have that, you’ve got it all.

Or do you?

Turns out, that we’re being sold bullsh**. If you look closely at people who “have it all”, you’ll find that they’re no better off than you and me.

My advice is to look for happiness and meaning elsewhere.

I’m talking about getting in touch with nature and the world around you.

I’m talking about embracing your spiritual side.

And what better way to do that than by taking advice from some of the most spiritual people on the planet – shamans?

Without further ado, here are 7 powerful lessons you can learn from a shaman to transform your life (for the better):

1) The importance of connecting to nature

When was the last time you went for a long walk in the woods or stopped to listen to the birds singing their song and the stream burbling over the rocks?

I’m asking because shamans believe that connecting with nature is a vital part of transforming your life.

By spending time in nature and observing natural cycles (day and night, seasons, moon phases, tidal cycles, etc.), you’ll start to feel a sense of interconnectedness with Mother Earth and the world you live in.

What’s more, connecting with nature is sure to help you reset your mind, recharge, reduce stress, and find balance and harmony in your life.

2) The mind-body-spirit unity

The body, mind, and spirit are all interconnected, ask any shaman.

It turns out that you can actually use this knowledge to your advantage – to transform your life for the better.

For example, did you know that a lot of the time backaches are caused by stress?

It’s true!

Using over-the-counter painkillers will only help you relieve some of the symptoms, but they won’t treat the cause.

That’s why you need to deal with the root of the problem – stress (what causes it, why, and how you can manage and alleviate it) if you want the backaches to go away.

I strongly encourage you to integrate holistic practices into your life, such as meditation, yoga, tai chi, or energy healing – trust me, they’ll have an astonishing effect on your overall well-being!

Not only will these practices contribute to your physical health, but they’ll also give you mental clarity and encourage spiritual growth.

3) Understanding energy

Did you know that shamans are attuned to energy fields and believe in the flow of energy in the body and the environment?

Understanding and harnessing the principles of energy can play a big part in your quest for personal transformation and holistic well-being.

You see, energy is considered the life force that flows within and around us and it plays a crucial role in shaping our physical, mental, and spiritual experiences.

The problem is that sometimes, there are disruptions or blockages in this flow which can lead to physical or emotional imbalances.

Practices such as yoga or Tai Chi are a great way to keep that energy flowing and make sure there are no blockages.
