In a world full of cheaters and liars, it can be hard to open up your heart.

Obviously, you’ll be afraid of getting your heart broken, but it comes down to more than this.

Relationships take years away from your life.

Realizing that you wasted a ton on someone who isn’t really in love with you sucks.

Trust me.

But how can you be sure a guy really wants to be with you?

Well, there’ll be signs.

Guys who fall in love unconsciously do and say things they wouldn’t for just any girl.

So, there’s a pretty good chance the guy you like is deeply in love with you if…

1) He remembers the little things.

It’s uncommon to remember minor things about people we don’t genuinely care about.

But when someone is madly in love, they’ll pay more attention to details.

Whether it’s how you take your coffee or recalling a random comment you made weeks ago, if the guy you’re seeing remembers the small things, he really likes you.

This level of attentiveness shows his mind unconsciously gravitates toward you because he’s emotionally invested.

And making sure you’re happy or feel comfortable is a priority.

2) He really listens to you.

For guys deeply in love, listening is more than just being polite. It becomes a way to really understand you and your emotions.

They read between the lines and are present in the conversation.

You know how some men only listen to respond?

Those who like you go beyond this. They’ll listen with the intention to learn more about you and make you feel like your questions and vent session actually matter.

And it’s not just to put on a show.

Without really knowing why, a guy who’s really in love will be genuinely interested in what you have to say, even if they’ve never been interested in what you’re talking about before.

3) He’s patient with you.

Whether it’s your quirks, in making decisions, or during difficult times, patience becomes a natural extension of his feelings when a guy really wants to be with you.

This isn’t just about waiting without complaint, though.

Patience is an unconscious manifestation of his deep love and respect for you. He’ll understand, tolerate, and be willing to give you his time and any space you might need.

For men who are in love, making sure you’re happy involves not pressuring you to make decisions or bend to their expectations.

And being patient is a way to express this love and say, “I am here for you, on your timeline, not just mine.”

4) He’s physically affectionate.

Physical touch, like holding hands, cuddling, or kissing, can be unconscious things men do when they’re naturally drawn to you.

It’s often their way to say they’re madly in love without using words.

This form of affection is also about comfort, reassurance, and the physical closeness that can strengthen the emotional bond between you.

And if a guy is really into you, physical touch will be spontaneous.

I’m all for consent, don’t get me wrong.

But instead of asking for permission, he’ll rely on nonverbal signals that indicate what he’s about to do is okay with you.

We all want to feel loved and connected. Physical touch is a powerful way to meet this need.

That’s why men in love usually unconsciously create a sense of belonging and togetherness through it.

Here’s something to keep in mind, though:

Not all guys are big on showing affection in public.

If this is the case with yours, he might just touch your back as you walk or rest his hand on your knee when you’re sitting instead of holding hands or kissing.

These small gestures still show that he is protective of your love but not overly possessive.

5) He shares his hobbies with you.

Hobbies are often personal and something we do to escape from everyday life.

But when a man is in love, he’ll want to include you in his.

This goes beyond simply trying to spend more time together. It’s about opening up his world and sharing a piece of his identity with you.

By inviting you to join in on hobby-related activities, your guy is probably signaling that he wants a deeper connection.

It’s a way of saying, “I want you to be a part of what makes me happy.”

Exposing your interests isn’t always easy, especially if you like someone. You might be afraid of judgment or them showing disinterest.

So when men take this chance, they feel comfortable enough that sharing their hobby with you is a natural, unconscious act.

6) He gets vulnerable.

Most of us, but especially men, have an instinct to protect ourselves by not exposing our weaknesses.

Being vulnerable does the exact opposite.

It involves opening up about fears, dreams, your past, insecurities, and – you guessed it – weaknesses.

Doing this exposes you to potential hurt and judgment.

However, when a man is madly in love, his instinct to protect himself becomes secondary to his desire to deepen his bond with you.

Unconsciously, he’ll open up and be more transparent, even if it’s little by little.

This vulnerability is his way of saying, “I trust you with my true self.”

And because of this, your relationship will reach a level of intimacy that superficial interactions can never achieve.

7) He supports you.

Whether it’s your fitness goal, career goal, or a wild dream you’re chasing, if your guy is deeply in love with you, he’ll support you without giving it a thought.

This support can be in different ways, some small and some big.

He might surprise you with a little celebration when you’ve reached a goal or simply sit on the sideline and cheer you on.

When you talk about your goals, he might genuinely listen and give you advice or just be happy for you when you’re doing well.

When a man is deeply in love, their partner’s dreams, goals, and challenges become as important to them as their own.

And it’s this deep emotional investment that leads to a natural desire to uplift, encourage, and help you in any way possible.

If you’re with a guy who does this, don’t take him for granted.

I’m not saying you should ignore all his red flags for the sake of these kinda things.

But finding a loyal man who puts you first, is willing to open up to you, and cares about the things that are important to you can improve your life.

If you can feel your man is deeply in love with you, show him you appreciate him and feel the same.
