Are sigma males shy? Everything you need to know

Have you heard about sigma males before?

It might not be a term in your vocabulary yet, but you will surely recognize all the qualities that make one… either in yourself or in your friends!

People tend to say sigma males are introverted or shy. This isn’t entirely true.

Here, we’ll go into detail about everything that makes a man a sigma male. Is there more than shyness behind their eyes?

Let’s get to it!

Sigma males: are they really shy?

They don’t mind being alone

Sigma males don’t care if they don’t have a group or a team.

They love to do their own thing and are more than capable of handling themselves.

Beta men might be more submissive and introverted when it comes to other people than sigmas. They simply don’t care!

They have mysterious vibes

This is because they don’t worry about standing out or being conformists.

They give off very attractive, mysterious vibes simply because you can’t quite recognize why they behave like that.

It makes you want to figure them out as soon as possible.

Can you imagine how loud, extroverted, and try-hard alphas feel when a sigma male is nearby?

They’re independent and trust themselves

This is a goal we all should aspire to.

Sigma men are super self-sufficient in every aspect of their lives. Moreso than any other male archetype.

They love traveling and wandering around. They might not even care about owning a house or an apartment.

Many sigma males are alright with carrying all their belongings inside a backpack, as much as having their own house.

What does this boil down to?

Simply, their incredible surviving skills.

You might equate them to lone wolves: they’re highly adaptable people, able to take care of themselves efficiently.

You might see them as shy or unable to form connections quickly, but it’s not the case.

They appreciate their own company and value people that do the same thing. They can nurture themselves and know their souls.

Whenever they want or need something, they’re more than able to go out and get it or even make it themselves.

They’re not submissive, nor are they dominant.

They make the rules of their lives.

They don’t make the same path as everyone else

They don’t follow the rules, but it’s not an attempt to get attention.

They are free-spirited people, not validation seekers.

Not following every rule is simply their way to enjoy their freedom and dismiss judgemental folks.

Beta men don’t like attention, and they’re super self-conscious. They love blending in the background and letting others shine.

Sigma males? No.

They’re just resting and in peace with themselves.

They don’t want all the attention

There’s a difference between being the center of attention and enjoying some attention.

Sigma males aren’t antisocial or unable to have friends. They just socialize differently, and they don’t follow the masses all the time.

They don’t care about that kind of attention.

If you’re dating a sigma male, he might enjoy occasionally going out or meeting your friends, but as a general rule, he will love to do his own thing most of the time.

If you’re looking for a sidekick, a sigma male might not be for you.

They evaluate things before taking action; they need a moment to scan the situation and think first.

This is why you won’t catch him flirting with people he hasn’t met yet, or going to every party in town. It’s not in his personality.

If you’re attracted to men that don’t need to be loud to exude confidence and don’t need to have the spotlight on themselves all the time, go for a sigma male.

They don’t care about social hierarchies

For most people, sigma males are loners. It doesn’t mean they never meet others or make new friends.

In fact, they do. They’re not abnormal; they have jobs, coworkers, family, etc.

To manage all these things, you need to know the rules and adapt to them efficiently.

Sigma males know how to blend in but can also completely turn the tables in an unfavorable situation.

They can escape these hierarchies like no other.

Here’s an example.

A sigma male can go to work and work hard at it.

However, he doesn’t depend on his boss, and he doesn’t really need his coworkers, and sometimes even the income that comes with the job. He is happy regardless.

Walking away from bad situations is easier for sigma males.

He won’t enable himself in drama regarding social hierarchies because that’s what he knows best how to avoid, even if other people want his opinion on the matter.

Sigma males are always ready and willing to be independent and not get caught in unnecessary power plays.

How to attract a sigma male

Sigma males aren’t like other men. However, there is something that unites them with other males.

And that’s how they react when you trigger their inner hero.

You see, for guys, it’s all about triggering their inner hero.

I learned about this from the hero instinct. Coined by relationship expert James Bauer, this fascinating concept is about what really drives men in relationships, which is ingrained in their DNA.

And it’s something most women don’t know anything about.

Once triggered, these drivers make men into the heroes of their own lives. They feel better, love harder, and commit stronger when they find someone who knows how to trigger it.

Now, you may be wondering why it’s called “the hero instinct”? Do guys really need to feel like superheroes to commit to a woman?

Not at all. Forget about Marvel. You won’t need to play the damsel in distress or buy your man a cape.

The easiest thing to do is to check out James Bauer’s excellent free video here. He shares some easy tips to get you started, such as sending him a 12 word text that will trigger his hero instinct right away.

Because that’s the beauty of the hero instinct.

It’s only a matter of knowing the right things to say to make him realize that he wants you and only you.

What is the motivation of a sigma male in life?

Alpha men are the kings, and as such, they command the court and dominate the beta males.

The sigma males can be akin to bards or storytellers.

They travel alone and entertain whoever they want. They might even be liked by the king and his followers. Their talents might ensure people admire them and respect them.

Yet, they don’t settle down.

Instead of marrying, a sigma man picks the woman he’s interested in, whoever is most beautiful to him, even in the presence of the alpha.

Then he leaves and continues his travels and adventures somewhere else.

Sigma males think the journey is the actual destination, and they enjoy the ride.

Betas might dream about dethroning the king or getting his power. Sigmas are different. They don’t care about that, not even about the power the king has.

To them, the alphas’ kind of power is meaningless.

The petty power struggles and drama the betas make are also insignificant in a sigma male’s life.

Why are sigma males like this?

Simply because they don’t care, they care so little about the hierarchies that they don’t care what someone sees them as.

The differences between sigma and alpha males

Sigmas aren’t forced to keep a determined public image. This makes them different from the kings, the alfas. Sigmas don’t owe themselves to anyone else and don’t care about it either.

Competing to be more or less dominant is also something sigma males will never do, but alphas will.

You have to fight to stay on the top, after all.

Sigmas don’t even care about the privileges the alphas get in their position. They will willingly give them away.

Instead, they analyze the pros and cons of being an alpha, and they don’t like what they find out. The sigma archetype is a lighter burden to carry, after all.

Sigmas don’t have to play little games or develop any sort of tribe mentality to survive and get what they want.

They’re super self-reliant, and what they want, they go and get in a very detached way.

Alphas share this trait, but they have to keep their powerful positions and they choose to negotiate many times.

To sum up

Bragging and boasting isn’t the style of sigma males. They’re quiet but not weak and not shy.

Many people find their humble nature intriguing since it gives them that lovely mysterious vibe that drives men and women to them instead of the other way around.

Alpha guys pale in comparison to sigmas when the situation requires it.

Their way of handling things is completely different and no less efficient.

Stoicism, calmness, and confidence are the three main characteristics of a sigma male.

They’re also charismatic and positive, and they have a way of making people feel comfortable around them too.

By now, you should have a better idea of why sigma males may seem shy. They’re not. But they would definitely appreciate you making the first step.

So the key now is getting through to your man in a way that empowers both him and you.

I mentioned the concept of the hero instinct earlier — by appealing directly to his primal instincts, you won’t only solve this issue, but you’ll take your relationship further than ever before.

And since this free video reveals exactly how to trigger your man’s hero instinct, you could make this change from as early as today.

With James Bauer’s incredible concept, he’ll see you as the only woman for him. So if you’re ready to take that plunge,be sure to check out the video now.
